ClickGuard needs the Google Ads tracking template because it's the only method that guarantees every paid ad click gets logged. With every click recorded, ClickGuard can run its forensic analysis on each one and block the sources of invalid traffic. Without the template, clicks go missing and protection has gaps.
ClickGuard utilizes the Google Ads tracking template to log ad clicks for your campaigns, ensuring comprehensive monitoring.
This approach is the only method that guarantees ClickGuard will log all paid ad clicks, enabling it to apply forensic analysis and implement the configured protection rules effectively.
It's important to note that the tracking template provided by ClickGuard must be placed in the tracking template field at the account level in your Google Ads account, not on the lower levels (campaign, ad group, or ad level).
