# Troubleshooting

Fix tracking, connection and protection problems.

- [Google Ads clicks not showing in ClickGuard](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/google-ads-clicks-not-showing.md): If your Google Ads clicks aren't showing up in ClickGuard, the usual causes are a missing or replaced tracking template, missing tracking parameters, tracking settings on campaigns, ad groups or ads, call-only ads, or a suspended account. Your ad account's Ad click tracking setup points out most of them.
- [Meta Ads clicks not showing in ClickGuard](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/meta-ads-clicks-not-showing.md): If your Meta Ads clicks aren't showing up in ClickGuard, check four things, in this order: the credential still has access to the ad account, click detection is turned on, the tracking code is installed on your website, and your ad URLs include the campaign ID that ClickGuard needs.
- [Microsoft Ads clicks not showing in ClickGuard](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/microsoft-ads-clicks-not-showing.md): If your Microsoft Ads clicks aren't showing in ClickGuard, check the tracking template first. When you link the account, choose Automatically configure click tracking so ClickGuard places its template in the account-level Tracking Template field. Templates set on campaigns, ad groups or ads override it, so ClickGuard can't see those clicks.
- [Click count in ClickGuard does not match Google Ads report](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/click-count-does-not-match-google-ads.md): If you notice a discrepancy between the number of ad clicks reported in ClickGuard and those shown in Google Ads, don’t worry—this is a common occurrence. The differences typically result from how each platform logs, processes, and filters click data.
- [Exclusions not working](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/exclusions-not-working.md): If ClickGuard's exclusions stay Pending, or blocked visitors still reach your ads, check the usual causes: a sync issue, missing permissions, Google still processing the change, too many exclusions, a Google Ads audience under 100 members, or your Meta audience settings. Each one has its own fix below.
- [Check tracking code installation](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/check-tracking-code-installation.md): After you install ClickGuard's tracking code, check that it's working in three ways. The Action required banner in ClickGuard disappears once the code is detected. Organic traffic shows up in the Live monitoring tab on the Click Forensics page. And paid clicks start showing device and behavior data, like time spent on page and bot probability.
- [Can't access my ClickGuard account](https://www.clickguard.com/help/troubleshooting/cant-access-my-clickguard-account.md): If you can't log in to ClickGuard, the most common cause is a forgotten password: click Forgot password on the login page and follow the reset email. Also check your email and password for typos, and try clearing your browser cache. For 2FA problems or a restricted account, contact our support team.
