Parallel tracking sends people who click your Google Ads straight to your landing page, while click tracking runs in the background through your tracking template. Pages load faster, so fewer visitors leave before they arrive. ClickGuard fully supports parallel tracking, so you don't need to change anything for ClickGuard to keep tracking every click.
Parallel tracking is a method that ensures when customers click on your ads, they are directed immediately to your landing page while click tracking and measurement occur in the background. ClickGuard fully supports this functionality, enabling a smoother, more efficient user experience.
With parallel tracking, ads lead users directly to landing pages while tracking is executed via tracking templates simultaneously. This process runs independently of the user's path after clicking on the ad, eliminating the need for redirects and ensuring there is no delay in the user journey due to slow tracking mechanisms.
Even when parallel tracking is not in use, ClickGuard's click tracking is designed to be exceptionally fast, operating in less than 6 milliseconds. This speed is so minimal that it remains undetectable to users, ensuring a seamless experience.
Parallel tracking is supported by a limited range of devices and browsers, primarily on Android smartphones. However, it may not be universally available on all platforms, making it important to understand where it is most effective.
Parallel tracking is mandatory for certain campaign types, including Search, Shopping, and Display campaigns. For Video campaigns, however, parallel tracking is optional, allowing for greater flexibility depending on your campaign strategy.
By utilizing parallel tracking with ClickGuard, you ensure faster load times, improved user experiences, and efficient click tracking without the risk of slowdowns or unnecessary redirects.
