ClickGuard handles traffic data from your website and access to your ad accounts on your behalf. Learn what it collects, how that data is used, what ClickGuard can do in your ad accounts, who owns your data, and how to revoke its access at any time.
ClickGuard looks at the traffic your ads send to your website and connects to your ad accounts to block bad sources. Both mean handling data on your behalf, so here is what we collect, how we use it and how you stay in control.
How ClickGuard handles your data is set out in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If your company needs a data processing agreement or custom terms, contact us.
To tell real visitors from invalid traffic, the tracking code records information about each visit from your ads, such as the IP address, the network it comes from, the device and browser, and how the visitor interacts with your page. From your ad accounts, ClickGuard reads the data it needs to match clicks to campaigns and to apply exclusions.
ClickGuard does not collect what visitors type into your forms, and it does not record their sessions.
Yes. The data ClickGuard collects is used to protect your ads and to run and improve ClickGuard. We do not sell your data or your visitors' data.
No. ClickGuard does not use your data, or your visitors' data, to train AI models.
When you connect an ad account, you grant ClickGuard access through the ad platform's own sign-in. ClickGuard uses that access to read campaign data, set up click tracking and add or remove exclusions for sources it flags. You can see every change ClickGuard makes in your ad account's change history.
You can disconnect an ad account at any time, see How to disconnect my ad account. To revoke access completely, see How to remove ClickGuard's OAuth access. To remove a workspace and everything in it, see How to delete a workspace.
You do. Your account, your settings and the data collected for your websites belong to you.
